Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is a well-known American actor also known as a producer, director and actress. Her name has been acknowledged for her roles in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles and The Incredibles. She won several awards including an Oscar for her role in the film Piano. Actresses have an extensive history of working on Broadway off-Broadway, Broadway and various productions. Acting has always been her love of life. When she was in fifth grade, she played Helen Keller in an original production. The actress was deaf in one ear following a bout of the mumps virus, however she did not let this disability dampen her desire to be an actress. While in college, she took classes in theatre and then moved from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to New York City in pursuit of her goal. In a chance encounter she became stuck in an elevator with writer Beth Henley and the two joined forces to create the Broadway Crimes of the Heart and made Hunter's debut. As she settled in Los Angeles, she began to search for film roles. The role she was offered came as an actress supporting the main character in Swing Shift. For the past 30 years she's appeared in many TV and film shows. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame star and was awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award.
